A red barn is such a beautiful sight. But why are a lot of barns painted red? According to the Farmer's Almanac hundreds of years ago, many farmers would seal their barns with linseed oil, which is an orange-colored oil derived from the seeds of the flax plant. To this oil, they would add a variety of things, most often milk and lime, but also ferrous oxide, or rust. ... It turned the mixture red in color. Not that I have anything against Dora Explorer, but my Uncle (Kaiden's great, great uncle), gave us this Dora Explorer sofa. He is always getting things from folks (he works at a waste station). The wheels in my head started turning. So a trip to Walmart and a yard and a half later of material along with 2 days recreating and now we have a Ninja Turtle sofa. Kaiden loves it!
